If you are aged 16- 25 and haven't been able to fi nd a course, apprenticeship or job that is right for you, why not consider joining our Choices programme? Choices is for young people who want to fi nd their way back into education, training or employment but for lots of reasons can't seem to fi nd the right route. Choices helps build your confi dence and skills in supportive surroundings where we all look to the future rather than the past. You may not have made the most of opportunities earlier in life-this is the chance to get back involved. . The chance to do something new and make something positive happen for you. . The opportunity to meet new friends and work with a friendly, supportive team of staff. . A great opportunity to build skills and fi nd out what you would like to do most. You get to choose from a great range of subject options and try them out- so you can fi nd out what you like most. These are usually practical, hands on subjects where you get to do new things. You'll also get lots of help to improve your English and confi dence with numbers and IT. You will be based just off the main campus in Rotherham town centre, very near to all the amenities and public transport. You will be introduced to the main campus depending on the subjects you choose. The course is initially for 12 weeks but you can continue to attend and do different options for as long as you need to. The number of hours per week depends on your individual timetable. Unlike lots of other courses, Choices starts at various points throughout the year- so you can get on board without having to wait until September. You can come on Choices and apply for the Educational Maintenance Allowance. What happens after I've been on Choices? That's up to you and we will work closely with you to help you move on and use your new found skills to your advantage. You could go on to a full time course at the College, look for an apprenticeship or go out and look for work with a new confi dence. Want to give it a try? Like to fi nd out more? Call and speak to one of our tutors and fi nd out how you can start making the right choices and build a future for yourself. Call 01709 722834. 17 make it happen Can I get an EMA?
