The work based element of the framework will be assessed through NVQ Level 2 whilst the knowledge will be delivered through the functional skills and relevant technical certifi cate. A completed apprenticeship will provide the skills you need for your chosen career and allow entry to an Advanced Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will follow a framework at level 3 which includes an NVQ, Functional Skills and in most cases a relevant technical certifi cate. You can take advantage of the facilities and equipment that will enable you to learn about the many different approaches to art and design work and then put this theory into practice as you create your own works of art.
