National Diploma in Applied Science ( Medical Science/ Forensic Science) Level 3 FL997AT TCC A course for people who wish to learn about scientifi c principles and are looking to progress into employment or higher level study within science based industries or in the science or health sectors. Your course will cover You will develop your knowledge of practical techniques in science and study topics including the physiology of human body systems, microbiological techniques and genetics/ engineering. The course will help develop your abilities in health and social care through the effective use of newly acquired knowledge and skills. Your study will include topics such as people, organisations, caring for children, local services and health and the environment. You will also have the opportunity to gain qualifi cations in Functional Skills such as communication, numeracy and IT. Entry requirements There are no formal requirements but you must be able to demonstrate that you have an interest in health and social care and be able to provide two written references.
